Last night I had the privilege of speaking to a group of fellow gardeners in Saint Lambert, Quebec. The talk was sponsored jointly by the horticultural society and the Friends of the Saint Lambert Library. Thanks to both groups and to the organizers, Suzanne Lebeau and Clare Gallant for a wonderful event!
Speaking to a group in person gave me a chance to share the process of developing a large and quirky garden. Good questions from the audience gave us a chance to share ideas and experiences.
Many of those at the Library will be visiting Glen Villa Art Garden on one of the Open Garden Days or as part of a specially organized visit, something that other groups may be interested in arranging. Just get in touch via the contact form on the website for details.
Or come with a friend on one of the Open Garden Days! The dates are
June 17
July 15
August 12
Tickets are selling quickly, particularly for the special Walks and Talks. Some of them are almost sold out — numbers for these are limited to a maximum of 20 people. Some Walks are in French only, some in English, most are bilingual. The group leaders are specialists in their fields and I’m sure that everyone who takes part will benefit from what they learn.

I look forward to meeting you in the garden. Or perhaps you’d be interested in inviting me to speak to your group, in person or online, about Glen Villa Art Garden or on another topic of your choice.
In the meantime, happy spring and happy gardening!
