Recently, I spent a very enjoyable hour speaking online with Heather Andrews, the Thoughtful Gardener. Her emphasis is on helping gardeners to create sustainable gardens that attract wildlife, support pollinators and increase vegetable yield using native plants. You can find her at Garden Thoughtfully. The website is well worth a look — she shares lots of good, solid information.
Heather and I have become online friends, so I was very happy to spend time with her. Our discussion centered around Autobiography of a Garden, the book about how my approach to the land at Glen Villa Art Garden developed as I changed as a gardener, but it ranged widely.

You can also purchase a copy of Autobiography of a Garden at fine bookstores anywhere or through Amazon and other online sources.
OR
You can purchase a signed copy at one of our Open Garden Days at Glen Villa Art Garden! I’ll be announcing dates for these Open Days within the next few weeks. Last year we opened the garden four times. This year we will open only on three days, in June, July and August.
If you are thinking about coming, I suggest that you book your tickets early. Last summer some days and times sold out quickly. We’re adding some exciting new features this year, and repeat visitors are doubly welcome!
I enjoyed the interview with Heather and now have a copy of your book, which is wonderful. I hope to make to one of your Open Garden days this summer.
Hope you can make it to the garden this summer, Lisa. We are in the planning stages for some new and exciting events!
