One day it cracks open the door, the next day, slams\u00a0it shut.<\/p>\n<p>And I&rsquo;m fed up! Come on, Spring, get a move on. Some years, snowdrops have finished by now. And yes, that&rsquo;s a patch of snow in front of them.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a normal spring, by now water would be splashing\u00a0gaily over the rocks at The Cascade. Often I see my first daffodil on April 15. Or maybe it will turn cold again and send them shivering for cover.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So what&rsquo;s up, Spring? What&rsquo;s holding you back? If you&rsquo;re a prodigal child who spent\u00a0all your good weather elsewhere, come home, we forgive you.\u00a0 If it&rsquo;s something we said or did, we&rsquo;re sorry.
