\n\nIn Transit\/En Route: the sundial clearing in the woods<\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n What accounts for the difference? Who knows. One day a person may be preoccupied with his or her own thoughts, another day more attuned to what’s around them. They may be talking or taking photos \u00a0rather than looking. Maybe their shoes are too tight, maybe they’re hungry. Maybe being outdoors leaves them cold. (Not surprising, with our winter temperatures.)\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\nTwo of my installations, though, usually make people stop, look and wonder. \u00a0Abenaki Walking <\/i>is a tribute to the first inhabitants of the Eastern Townships. One day I’ll write about it.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n\n The other installation is In Transit<\/i>, or En Route<\/i> in French, a part of which is pictured above.
