When you visit a garden, do you prefer to walk around on your own or to take a guided tour?\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

A few years ago I wrote something on this topic but never used it. Recently, though, cleaning up my computer, I came across the article and sent it to my friend Anne Wareham.<\/p>\r\n

Anne is an author and garden maker. She and her partner Charles Hawes have created a wonderful garden in Wales called Veddw. She pioneered thoughtful garden writing with ThinkinGardens and now writes for Garden Rant and about Veddw on her Substack as The Not So Bad Tempered Gardener<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n
