Le voyage est la destination<\/strong><\/p>\n

Au fil du temps<\/em> est une installation artistique qui explore des id\u00e9es sur l’histoire, la m\u00e9moire et notre relation \u00e0 la terre. Quinze sections, chacune avec son propre nom et son identit\u00e9, sont positionn\u00e9es le long d’un sentier de quatre kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 travers des bois naturels et d’anciens champs agricoles.<\/p>\n

Con\u00e7ues comme un voyage qui engage les sens et l’esprit du marcheur, les chronologies peuvent \u00eatre entreprises et v\u00e9cues \u00e0 plusieurs niveaux : une promenade agr\u00e9able, une occasion de contemplation ou d’examin\u00e9 ce qui a pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9, soit en termes historiques larges, soit en termes plus personnels. La chronologie n’est pas une repr\u00e9sentation du pass\u00e9 mais plut\u00f4t une exploration de la fa\u00e7on dont le pass\u00e9 fa\u00e7onne le pr\u00e9sent et de la fa\u00e7on dont les actions pr\u00e9sentes se prolongent dans le futur. Le sentier commence par une installation rendant hommage aux Ab\u00e9nakis, les premiers habitants de la terre qui est aujourd’hui Glen Villa. Il ne proc\u00e8de pas chronologiquement ; au lieu de cela, les installations sont situ\u00e9es en relation avec la forme du terrain, ses utilisations historiques et la r\u00e9ponse imaginative de l’artiste. Cette approche non lin\u00e9aire attire l’attention sur l’interrelation des \u00e9v\u00e9nements \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents moments. Il offre \u00e9galement des opportunit\u00e9s de consid\u00e9rer les diff\u00e9rentes mani\u00e8res dont nous vivons le temps : des rencontres momentan\u00e9es, des rencontres r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es, des \u00e9v\u00e9nements ponctuels qui laissent des impressions durables.<\/p>\n

Chaque installation est nomm\u00e9e, pour exprimer son caract\u00e8re particulier, le nom agissant comme un guide des intentions de l’artiste ainsi que sugg\u00e9rant des fa\u00e7ons dont les sections se rapportent les unes aux autres. La couleur rouge est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment f\u00e9d\u00e9rateur de cette \u0153uvre, d’une part parce qu’elle se d\u00e9marque dans le paysage quelle que soit la saison, mais surtout par ses multiples connotations : col\u00e8re, danger, vie, amour. Ces diff\u00e9rentes significations coexistent, ainsi que les associations et les contradictions des quinze installations le long du parcours. Projet unique exprimant plusieurs points de vue, Au fil du temps incarne une id\u00e9e exprim\u00e9e par T.S.
